A poster presentation competition on "Nobel Laureates and Their Work"

             A poster presentation competition on "Nobel Laureates and Their Work" was successfully conducted at Doodhsakhar Mahavidyalaya, Bidri College. The Chemistry Department of Doodhsakhar Mahavidyalaya, Bidri College organized the competition today, focusing on Nobel Prize-winning scientists and their contributions. The Nobel Prize is the highest honor in the world, awarded for achievements in science, research, and social welfare. This event provided students with an opportunity to learn about great scientists and draw inspiration from their research.  A total of twenty students from B.Sc-I, B.Sc-II, and B.Sc-III year participated in the competition. During the inauguration, Principal Prof. Sanjay Patil guided the students, appreciated the participants, and emphasized the importance of science and research. The event was introduced by the Head of the Department, Prof. S. N. Zende. The competition was judged by Prof. Y. S. Patil, Prof. S. N. Kulkarni, and Prof. Jayashree Aagaj.  

               In the competition, Sakshi Patil secured the first position. Parth Desai and Dhananjay Malvekar shared the second position, while Samruddhi Parit and Samiksha Adamapure shared the third position. Sakshi Warke and Sakshi Ekal received consolation prizes. All winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates by the college. Faculty members, including Prof. R. B. Chopade, Dr. R. R. Powar, Prof. M. R. Farakte, Prof. V. B. Barkale, Sanjay Joshi, and Akshay Shetty, contributed to the success of the event. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Sampada Warake. The event was attended by all faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students.
